How many cars can you post on Facebook Marketplace a day?

Facebook does not publish a daily number. None of the Meta policy and help pages we checked on October 11, 2026 gives one. Here is what Meta does say, and how to pace your posts.

Is there a daily listing limit on Facebook Marketplace?

Not one that Facebook publishes. Meta's Commerce Policies, Spam policy, Terms and Marketplace help pages give no number of listings per day or per account for Canada.

What Meta does publish is a rule about speed. Its Spam policy counts posting "either manually or automatically, at very high frequencies" as spam. Accounts posting more slowly may still be restricted if they post repetitive content.

Meta does have a help article called Facebook Marketplace listing limits. Opened from Canada, signed out, on October 11, 2026, it says only that it does not apply to our region.

Where the numbers online come from

From third parties, not Meta, and they disagree with each other: some give a number a day, others a number a month. Treat any of them as a guess, not a Facebook rule.

Figures per business Page miss Canada anyway: Meta stopped supporting vehicle listings from business Pages here on January 30, 2023. See Can car dealers post on Facebook Marketplace?

Is the limit lower for a new Facebook account?

Meta does not say. Start small, post on the same days at the same pace, and only raise the number while new listings keep going live. DealerJet's schedule starts new accounts at 3 posts a day.

What actually helps

Post the way a careful person would: from your own account, a few cars at a time, spaced out, with every listing complete and accurate.

  • Your own account. Meta's Terms say to create only one account, your own, and not to share your password or give others access. One login passed around the sales floor breaks that.
  • Space posts out. The Spam policy targets posting at very high frequencies, so leave a gap between posts.
  • Complete, accurate listings. Real photos of that car, and the right year, make, model, kilometres and price. The Commerce Policies prohibit misleading offers.
  • No repeats from one account. Do not post the same car more than once from the same account. The Spam policy names posting repetitive content as a sign of spam, even at lower volumes.
  • Follow the rules. Breaking the Commerce Policies can get listings rejected or removed and Marketplace access suspended. Provincial ad rules apply too: see dealer ad rules on Marketplace in Canada.

What does not help: a second account to get around a restriction. Meta's Terms say not to create another once yours is disabled, without its permission.

Listing removed or Marketplace access restricted?

Start with Meta's notice. If a listing was rejected or removed and you think it was a mistake, the Commerce Policies say you can request a review.

  1. Read the notice and follow the steps it gives.
  2. If a listing was removed by mistake, request a review.
  3. Pause posting from that account until it is resolved.
  4. Check recent listings for duplicates, missing details or anything the Commerce Policies prohibit.

The Commerce Policies also say Marketplace is intended for consumer-to-consumer sales. They name restrictions on business sellers only in the European Economic Area, the Philippines and India, not Canada. That can change, so check now and then.

How DealerJet paces posting

Scheduled posting runs at the pace you set, from each rep's own Facebook account in their own Chrome browser.

  • Posts per day: 1 to 10 per rep, your choice.
  • A minimum time between posts, which you set.
  • Your start time and posting days, in your own time zone.
  • Scheduled posting stays off until you turn it on.
  • It only takes cars that are Ready to post. A car missing something Facebook needs waits in Needs review.

Scheduled posts start at your start time and go out one at a time, at least your minimum gap apart, until the day's number is reached, so they never go out in a burst. When a rep posts a car themselves, the pace is theirs, so keep the same pace by hand.

DealerJet puts the pace in your hands, from each rep's own account. See how DealerJet works.
